He specializes in comparative business law, with distinct expertise in insolvency and secured transactions. His research investigates the transplantation and adaptation of Anglo-American legal frameworks within Africa, examining how comparative legal approaches can drive reforms in commercial law, economic development, and legal policy across emerging economies.
